Priest High Adventure 2016 Preparation
We are excited about this year’s Priest High Adventure! We will be camping, kayaking, and caving! Great spiritual firesides, too.
We will meeting at the New River State Park North Carolina, Thursday July 21st in the late afternoon to set up camp, eat dinner, and have a fireside.
Friday morning we’ll eat breakfast and head out to the kayak outfitters for a day trip on the New River. That evening we’ll have activities, food and a fireside. Saturday we’ll break camp early, eat breakfast, and then head to Worley’s Cave…which is just past the Tennessee border. We’ll explore the cave for about 4 to 5 hours. After caving, we’ll change clothes and head home.
IMPORTANT: bring a headlamp (with extra batteries), a change of clothes, and some money for food on the way home. See below for a complete packing list
Throughout and in between the activities there will be plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company as well as the beauty of nature.
